Ephesians 1:1-14
In Christ: Blessed and United for His Glory In Christ: Blessed and United for His Glory

This week at First Baptist Church, we open Paul’s letter to the Ephesians and uncover something most of us forget:

Your identity isn’t something you build… it’s something God already gave.

In Ephesians 1:1–14, Paul reminds us that:

  • God has already blessed us in Christ
  • God is uniting all things under Jesus
  • And everything is happening for His glory

This isn’t about becoming someone new someday…
This is about living out who you already are right now.

Too often, we settle for surface-level connections—shared interests, backgrounds, or preferences. But in Christ, we are given something deeper:

A shared identity. A true family. A real unity that we don’t create—God does.

And if that’s true…
Then it has to change how we live with each other.

 This week’s challenge:
Don’t just believe it—live like it.
Reach out. Pray with someone. Move toward the family God has already given you.
