Jesus the True and Better Savior | Our Restoration Jesus the True and Better Savior | Our Restoration

In this message from the Behold Our God series, we look at the story of Peter denying Jesus and the incredible grace that follows. Peter promised loyalty but failed under pressure, denying even knowing Jesus. Yet Jesus already knew Peter would fail—and He loved him anyway.

After the resurrection, Jesus restores Peter beside a charcoal fire, giving him the opportunity to say “yes” where he once said “no.” This moment shows us two powerful truths: Jesus restores those who fail Him, and true love for Jesus begins to change the direction of our lives.

In this sermon, we see that Jesus is the True and Better Peter. Where Peter denied Jesus to protect himself, Jesus willingly went to the cross to save us. His grace restores us, and when that grace takes hold of our hearts, our love for Christ begins to show itself through obedience.

No one follows Jesus perfectly—but those who truly love Him will begin to follow Him differently.
